Laser light sources Today, lasers play an important role in numerous applications ranging from measurement and biotechnology up to material handling. Accordingly, lasers with different wave lengths, performance values, sizes, modes, etc. are needed. Our "Lasers and Accessories" business unit offers a wide range of different laser light sources for industry and laboratory applications. Diode-pumped solid-state lasers can be obtained from UV at 262nm to IR at 1340nm. Customers may choose between continuous and pulsed lasers with varied performance characteristics. Fiber lasers The future technology of fiber lasers is enjoying an increase in popularity especially where high performance levels are needed. These low-priced lasers are characterized by perfect beam quality and maintenance-free longevity. We offer different complete CW or pulsed lasers as well as modules. The area of gas lasers includes proven HeNe lasers with wave lengths between 543nm and 3390nm, tunable lasers as well as deep UV lasers. These quasi-CW metal-vapor hollow-cathode lasers pave the way for new wave lengths in deep UV areas between 224nm and 272nm. Laser diodes are the most commonly used lasers because of their compact design, efficiency, performance and cost-effectiveness. Our comprehensive product portfolio covers bars and laser diodes as well as complete laser systems. We also offer a complete range of accessories for self-assembly, including laser diode mounts, current and temperature controllers, etc.
