The current version of the PMA supports analog beam modulation from CW to 20MHz with bias currents from 0 to 200mA and modulation currents from 0 to 200mA. Please note that the unit's combined bias current and modulation current must not exceed 300mA.
The PMA allows for DVM-compatible monitoring of the module's drive current and output power. The unit serves as the perfect solution to any number of applications, including laser-induced fluorescence, testing, and biomedical procedures.

IQ1A
For those in need of analog modulation and an exceptionally
stable wavelength and output power, the IQ1A is an ideal choice. This Instrument Quality unit not only incorporates a PID temperature controller and precision current source, but it features analog beam modulation from CW to 70MHz. The IQ1A allows for DVM-compatible monitoring of temperature and drive current parameters. The module is available with an elliptical beam or with a round beam achieved via microlensed diode.
For users interested in a module with both analog modulation and beam correction via anamorphic prisms, our IQ2A is available.
